Excellent host, small room with en suite loo and wash basin, separate bathroom next door, no breakfast supplied but plenty of shops nearby, comfortable bed, good wifi and TV.

I had a wonderful time staying at Rowan Close! The room was spacious, cozy, and immaculately clean with a comfortable bed. I loved the little touches like the mini fridge stocked with fresh milk for my tea. The location was perfect for my Dartmoor hikes, with easy access to the moorland and breathtaking scenery just a short walk away. Being close to the bus stop and supermarkets was also very convenient. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great tips and recommendations. a lovely and great value place to stay for a few days exploring Dartmoor. Minor drawbacks were the lack of a TV in the room and no breakfast included, but they didn't detract from the overall enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful time at this cozy and clean room at a great value. the location is perfect for exploring the Whitchurch common and the moors, with easy access to wooded walks and even Plymouth for cyclists. the host was lovely and allowed me to use her kitchen for breakfast. the room itself was adequate for my needs, with a comfortable bed and an ensuite toilet. the best part was being able to walk to Dartmoor and enjoy the beautiful scenery within 20 minutes. a lovely and affordable place to stay for a walking trip on the moor. Cons: Nothing, all excellent. 👍🏼.

We had a fantastic stay at Rowan Close! The location was perfect for exploring Whitchurch Common and the beautiful moors. The house is situated right on the trailway, making it convenient for keen cyclists like us. It was also a short walk to Tavistock and close to the main road for easy access to buses. The value for money was excellent, and the room, although small, had everything we needed and a comfy bed. The host was lovely and even allowed us to use her kitchen for breakfast. It was a peaceful and quiet location, ensuring a good night's sleep.
